    DISAPPOINTING - Scores 1/5

This is a poor piece of kit for many reasons.
I was aware when I bought it that it only had one tuner, and it wasn't a problem for me but try to find two tuners if you can.
The picture quality is very variable and is often rather soft. The unit also has trouble keeping a Freeview signal. Put it into standby and it will lose all its stations, meaning you have to leave it on all the time if you want to record programmes when you are not around. Daewoo said it needs a strong signal, but the same roof-based arials and leads give 'excellent' signals with all my other devices and it is only this unit that has a problem. Many other people have reported the same on other sites. The only fix is remove the mains plug for a while, then completely restart and reconfigure the machine.
It is cheap, however, but not easy to use. The fan noise is intrusive and there's no way to see how far you are through watching a recorded programme except by stopping or pausing the machine.
