Love this whisk use it loads makes brilliant cakes and icing whips cream effortlessly but I am now awaiting my fourth replacement. Gears are made of plastic dualit are very helpful and they will overnight a replacement but 1once was unlucky twice was unlucky but third time annoying and fourth I am getting fed up and wish I had bought a kenwood chef as this obviously isnt up to its title of a professional hand mixer. I use it average of once a week and when it works I love it but it always breaks when I have a list of things to make like today my daughters Xmas party cupcakes which I have borrowed a kenwood chef to finish. If you are likely to use a lot maybe rethink and buy a big mixer. Sorry dualit

EXCELLENT HAND WHISK - Scores 5/5
I am really pleased with my Dualit hand mixer. Having baked for many years and used several different makes of hand whisk - this is the best by a long way. It is able to cope with large amounts without the feelihg that it is straining the motor. It is easy to handle and is brilliant at whisking hard butter as well as egg whites.I would certainly recommend it.

GREAT MACHINE... - Scores 5/5
This machine is light and practical and you can immediately tell the build quality is high. This is worth the extra cash in my oppinion. Even when you turn the machine on you can actually 'hear' the fact it's a professional machine - the motor sounds very sturdy and at no point do you feel like it's being pushed. Stow away cord is great - but I think most of the mixers have this these days. All the attachments you're likely to ever need come as standard. So unless you're planning on spending big bucks on one of those super serious Kitchen Aid stand mixers, I can highly recommend this one!
