| HASN'T BROKEN YET - Scores 5/5
Had this a year or so. Been keeping it in it's original box on the landing to remind people of the need to hoover daily. Also easier to reach than when it's hidden - and always with excuses when they can't see the tool in front of them - "it's in the cupboard, thats far too far to go" etc.
Hasn't broken, the variable suction is nice. No need to wait to do the hoovering when people are sleeping, can just turn down the volume on it. Great.
Washed plastic top section once thorougly too with some fragrant shower gel and dried for a few weeks in airing cupboard. Hasn't become another smelly vacuum cleaner (dust smell) like the rest I've owned. Fantastic.
Came with 2 HEPA filters. Which is good, because each one takes a week to dry properly in the airing cupboard.
If you're careful and follow the instructions to the letter. No reason why this vacuum shoudln't last you atleast a good few years.
Nice design too. I look forward to more modern looking designs from Electorlux in the future. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 21 NOVEMBER 2008 |

| NOT REALLY THE BEST ONE I EVER HAD - Scores 3/5
Actually I bought the predecessor that included a turbo nozzle but I found that it only did the job for about 2 monthths before jamming. Well the device itself is rather light, which is a plus. However, due to the high centre of gravity it tends to fall over when turning around a corner. The cable (usable 4.5m) is quite short and funnily enough, after a year the cable cannot be stopped to retract (usually I found that vacuums suffer from not being able to retract after a while). The filter is washable and "brushable" - the latter is necessary since the suction diminishes rapidly if fine dust enters the filter, hence it has to be frequently cleaned (I already had better bagless cleaners). The fine particle filter is hard to keep in place but the main filter already takes most of the dirt anyway. Overall I would not buy it again. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 25 AUGUST 2008 |

| GOOD CHEAP, BAGLESS, VACUUM - Scores 4/5
Our main criteria when buying the vacuum cleaner was storage - we needed something that packed away well and still was a fairly good cleaner. Had a good look around and decided on this one. It's been good for the few months that we've had it. We don't have any carpets so I can't say whether it's good with carpets but for general wood floor sucking it is fine! and small enough to tidy away very easily. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 22 JULY 2008 |

| LOVE MY NEW HOOVER! - Scores 5/5
I had a big orange Vax machine before and since hurting my back I needed something smaller to carry up the stairs!
Looked at the Dyson range but the wattage was much smaller and the price much higher!! Also too clunky to be stored easily under my stairs.
Im happy with the suction and its so light and easy to carry and Ive now seen dirt from my carpets that my Vax never collected.
Nice to be able to control the suction with the slide control that I can hoover my mats without dragging them round the room.
Good value for money in my opinion and a sleeker model than any Dyson! | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 19 MAY 2008 |

| PATHETIC - Scores 1/5
Let me just list the grievances.
1. Weak suction, even with 'Max' dial setting. 2. Metal extension tube that constantly falls apart. 3. Hose that's shoddily attached to the the tube holder. In my vacuum, it came off after one month. 4. A supercharged cord rewind that can actually injure you. 5. An unstable design: the vacuum keeps falling sideways.
Life is too short to spend it picking up and re-attaching vacuum tube parts; the device is shortly going to trash, and I am buying a Panasonic.
