I was shopping around to buy one of those for my wife. Spent whole week reading about espresso makers and instantly gaggia was obvious choice ;-)
I was tempted by Cubika model but read many bad reviews while this New Baby model is simply all time champion Gaggia Classic in just different (non metal) body.
First impressions? It's beautiful, I had a look before at Gaggia Espresso Dose and it looked cheap while this beauty looks much much sturdy. We tried few cups already and it is very good but of course we need time to master the skill of espresso brewing. In my eyes this machine lives up to Gaggia reputation totally. It would be the first brand I would suggest to anyone if asked for a recommendation.
Not to mention I got a great deal on this RRP £230 machine - £135 from Debenhams (£150 on sale - 10% display model) so almost £100 less then it retails for... It's worth shopping around to find best current deal for this Gaggia!
