	INDESIT`S APALLING AFTER SALES CARE - Scores 1/5 Dryer ground to a halt within 6 weeks of purchase. The engineer despatched to check it over said the item had been dropped prior to delivery and was damaged on it`s left side. The dryer would not work as the drum had sheared off completely! The engineer said that in all his years he had never seen this happen on so young a machine. He telephoned the manufacturer, in our presence, to point out the extreme damage and requested a replacement - Indesit refused. The seller we bought it from were extremely helpful, they tried contacting Indesit and were told the same thing. Apparently you have 4 weeks to spot a dud, after which time you must have the thing repaired, no matter what the reason. We now have to wait for several weeks for the arrival of a new part.
