I dont think Ive seen many 5 star accross the board reviews on Amazon but I agree with everyone else. We got ours about two years ago now to replace a good quality stereo that cost me a fortune many years ago and we havent been dissappointed. It might not have the volume we used to have (I almost considered dropping a half star there) but the quality, simplicity and sheer detail from this system more than makes up for it (half star reinstated). I dont think they make this model anymore but I'm sure the newer ones will be just as good. We also plug our personal CD players in the back of ours, and although it needs turned up a bit further to drive it, the sound is just as good, so its as versatile as you can get. ANYONE WHO THINKS OF GETTING A SPEAKER DOCK FOR THERE IPOD AND DOESN'T OPT FOR THIS BABY SERIOUSLY NEEDS SOME PYSCHIATRIC EVALUATION. FROM METALLICA TO MOZART IT TOTALLY RIPS APART THE RULE BOOK AND BECAUSE OF ITS QUALITY YOU WILL LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC LOUDER AND MORE OFTEN. I'll echo other peoples comments that "I don't usually write reviews on products, but . . . . " I feel compelled to type a few lines because this product is superb.
Very easy going sound that compares well to the raft of Marantz Ki hi-fi kit that I've owned in the past
My i300 is also hooked up to a tiny Revo DAB unit, in summary, sound from both the DAB & Ipod sources is spot on.
If I can make one recommendation it would be to buy some better quality speaker cable - I'm a bit sad with cables & tried some of my Chord Company Carnival with this set up - imaging and clarity was improved further! | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS

Very high quality audio for a very reasonable price. Once you unbox it you will be amazed at the build quality and then when you turn it on and listen to your cd, i-pod or vinyl (I hooked my turntable up through a mixer) you will be truly suprised by the sonic capability of this unit.
