| BRILLIANT!! BETTER THAN KITCHENAID!! - Scores 5/5
I have just purchased this mixer after many, many weeks of indecision - I really wanted a kitchenaid as they are supposed to be the best but the classic version of the kitchenaid doesn't have a handle on the bowl. To get a handle you would have to get the artisan version which is over £300. And a bowl with a handle would be so much more user friendly and for this kind of money I think a handle is a requirement and not a luxury!! So I came across this mixer which has everything - 3 attachments, handle on bowl, powerful motor - in fact more powerful than the classic kitchenaid, looks really nice - I think it actually looks better than the kitchenaid. And I really liked the colour - cream fits in better with my kitchen than white. And I have now used it and I am not disappointed. Its really really great and I am so chuffed with it! | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 09 OCTOBER 2008 |

| HELP! CAN'T STOP BAKING CAKES - I'M A STONE HEAVIER.... - Scores 5/5
I wanted a beater that could almost scrape around the inside of the bowl so you could leave it to mix all the mixture whilst you get on with other things. The Kenwood beater fits the bowl very well and when making a cake I only have to scrape the mix away from the sides and bottom of the bowl once to make sure. My friend has the Kitchenaid and the beater leaves a much bigger margin of unmixed mixture and so needs more hands on attention. This will probably only make sense to other cake making nerds like me... | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 25 SEPTEMBER 2008 |

| LOVE MY PATISSIER! - Scores 5/5
I am one of it seems, many who found this wonderful machine while craving a KitchenAid mixer. I am so glad I decided to give this a go. It is very sturdy, looks beautiful in my kitchen and copes with my regular bread making sessions with ease. Cakes are a doddle to make also - too easy really to be any good for my waistline. It compliments my dualit hand mixer and Magimix food processer beautifully. I wouldn't swap it now for the world (and I saved £200 pounds on my once desired KitchenAid into the bargain!)

| BRILLIANT... - Scores 5/5
Well, I hate to say it, but I'm another that craved a kitchenaid mixer...now I have no idea why...the Kenwood Patissier is far nicer looking, far cheaper (without compromising build quality) and more powerful too. I received it yesterday and straight away made a batch of biscuits without using the instruction book, it's that easy to use. The only thing now is I will want to be baking all the time...and if I bake it, I have to eat it! Hope the novelty soon wears off!
Seriously though...forget the kitchenaid and buy the patissier. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 26 MARCH 2008 |

| DELICIOUS CAKES! - Scores 5/5
I have loved the look of the kenwood patissier mixer since I first saw it on sale in an up market department store. Watching 'Nigella express' and seeing her using her Kitchenaid prompted me into checking out the retro kenwood on Amazon. I am SO pleased with it, its a third of the price of the Kitchenaid and just as good looking. its really chunky and beautifully made and my fairy cakes have never been as fluffy! I also bought The Magnolia bakery cookbook so am planning to make many more! Go on all you cake makers out there...treat yourself! | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 15 DECEMBER 2007 |
