| VERY DISSAPOINTED AFTER OWNING A PSA200 - Scores 2/5
I loved my PSA200 to bits so went straight for the PSA220 when it eventually died. I was astounded that Phillips could take a product so good as the PSA200 and create the Frankenstein monster that is the 220 from it.
WHY?
Some clever person thought it would be a great idea to cover up the USB port with the rubber protective case so every time you want to charge it or add a song you have to wrestle with the band which gets looser and more stretched with each added track. Leading to the inevitable falling out and smashing of player, which I assume is the plan.
No batteries ok may save you a few quid but if you forget to charge it or go camping etc the player is useless. Also the player now has a set life span dictated by the internal cell.
The software is predictably a nightmare, but unlike my PSA200 I can't seem to drag and drop through windows. The tracks are there but the player just won't see them.
The Phillips site is a joke. The bundled software has an upgrade link that leads to the consumer contact home page. Wave goodbye to an hour of your life searching for the upgrade.
Player is sound and has a radio and more memory and a flashing light. Big deal! Give me back my 128 PSA200.

| BRILLIANT MP3 PLAYER! - Scores 5/5
I have had mine for more than a year and its still looks brand new although i frequently drop it on the floor by accident. This is one of the most durable MP3 players ever. I would definitely recommend it and it's perfect for the gym. | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 29 APRIL 2007 |

| NIKE/PHILIPS RULES! - Scores 5/5
Excellent!!! I used to have the ACT100 which is just the radio and I liked that, but the PSA220 is great. I do a lot of marathon training and always have this little gdget with me. Listen to my own mp3s or the radio. It is very comfortable and the earphones are great, too. It comes with software, charger and all the necessary cables. Can't run without it now :-) | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 03 FEBRUARY 2005 |
