I bought this camera a while ago as I had sat on my previous Sony Cybershot and broke the screen. The reason to go for a newer Cybershot was simple - a fantastic range of cameras that take great pictures. (My old camera was an older Carl Zeiss - which is why I went for this specific model - the 'lens' of CZ is the USP apparently)
This T-90 is almost lightyears ahead of my previous camera; with touch screen simplicity, a wand to use instead of a finger and easily categorizable images (into folders)
The T-90 takes wonderful HD video and with a decent memory card (4Gb or 8gb) you can take a great deal of this HD video. Fantastic to then plug the camera in to my HD TV (cable provided) and view the sensational quality of the camera and its images.
What surprised me most about the camera was the multiple photo settings you can utilise to get the perfect shot. It has 'snow' mode, 'firework' mode, 'gourmet food' mode and many others. It is an incredible camera and I have been to the fireworks this November to get some amazing photos in this setting! Might go skiing to try out 'snow' mode...!
The Cybershots are expensive for a reason though - the design of the product is great and the sleek build is probably a reason for the price. However I can say that it is such great value and well worth spending money on for a great camera that will be relatively futureproof over the next few years.
Minor Footnote: One note to add is that I tend to leave fingerprints all over the back of the camera as I tend to use my fingers instead of the poking wand. It comes with a little cleaning cloth for this purpose though - so they have thought of everything! | REVIEW BY ANONYMOUS ON 25 DECEMBER 2009 |
